As Mr. Colion Noir pointed out in one of his videos, society and the media tends to glorify mass shooters. Almost everyone knows the shooters names but we rarely ever remember the names of people who stopped a shooter.
This is a thank you to Sgt. Lisa Castellano who stopped a shooter at a movie theater in Texas just days after the Sandy Hook tragedy. Nearly every news media outlet ignored her act of heroism that quite possibly saved the lives of many at the theater that night.
Why did the media ignore this story? Was it because it showed that the only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy, or in this case, woman, with a gun? Was it because no one died and the media had no bloodshed and death to sell to society and fuel the emotions still burning from Sandy Hook?
